Brad Finstad is a Republican U.S. Representative from Minnesota's 1st District, a fifth-generation farmer and former Trump USDA official representing southern Minnesota.
Bradley Finstad is the U.S. Representative for Minnesota's 1st Congressional District, a Republican first elected in a 2022 special election and currently serving his second term. He represents an expansive southern Minnesota district stretching along the Iowa border from Pipestone to the Wisconsin border. A fifth-generation farmer from New Ulm who graduated from the University of Minnesota, Finstad served in the Minnesota House of Representatives and led a center for rural policy development before serving as Minnesota state director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development program during the Trump administration. In the 119th Congress, he serves on the House Agriculture Committee as chairman of the Nutrition and Foreign Agriculture Subcommittee, the Armed Services Committee, and the Small Business Committee, focusing on agriculture, biofuels, rural healthcare, and broadband expansion.
