Biography

Brad Knott is a Republican U.S. Representative from North Carolina's 13th District and former federal prosecutor with experience prosecuting drug trafficking and violent crime.

Brad Knott represents North Carolina's 13th Congressional District as a Republican elected in 2024. A graduate of Wake Forest University and Wake Forest School of Law, Knott served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of North Carolina, prosecuting drug trafficking, fraud, and violent crime cases. He won a competitive Republican primary and general election in the newly drawn district covering Wake, Johnston, Lee, Harnett, Franklin, Caswell, Person, and Granville counties in central North Carolina. Knott serves on the Judiciary, Transportation and Infrastructure, Homeland Security, and Ethics committees and focuses on border security, law enforcement, rural economic development, and criminal justice.
