Brandon Gene Gill is the U.S. Representative for Texas's 26th Congressional District, a Republican elected in 2024 to succeed Michael Burgess. Born on a military air force base and raised on a cattle ranch in West Texas, Gill graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with degrees in Economics and History. He worked as an investment banker and founded DC Enquirer, a conservative news outlet. The son-in-law of conservative commentator Dinesh D'Souza, Gill is also the youngest Republican member of Congress. He represents a heavily Republican district covering Denton County and northern Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs. Gill is a member of the House Freedom Caucus, won his primary with over 50% without a runoff, and won the general election with over 60%. He focuses on immigration, conservative social policy, and fiscal issues.
