Bryan Steil is a Republican U.S. Representative from Wisconsin's 1st District and chair of the House Administration Committee.
Bryan George Steil was born February 3, 1981, and is the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2018 and currently serving his fourth term representing southeastern Wisconsin including Janesville, Kenosha, and Racine. A graduate of Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and the University of Wisconsin Law School, Steil worked as a staffer for then-Representative Paul Ryan from 2003 to 2004 and later served as assistant general counsel at Regal Beloit Corporation, a manufacturer of electric motors. He served as a regent of the University of Wisconsin System before his congressional election. He serves as chair of the House Administration Committee, which oversees federal elections, the Capitol, and House operations, and sits on the House Financial Services Committee, focusing on manufacturing and election policy.
