Biography

Chris Deluzio is a Democratic U.S. Representative from Pennsylvania's 17th District, a Navy veteran and voting rights attorney from the Pittsburgh suburbs.

Christopher R. Deluzio represents Pennsylvania's 17th Congressional District, a Democrat first elected in 2022 serving his second term covering Beaver County and portions of Allegheny County in the Pittsburgh suburbs. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and Georgetown Law School, Deluzio served as a Navy surface warfare officer with an Iraq deployment and worked as a voting rights and national security attorney at the University of Pittsburgh's Institute for Cyber Law, Policy, and Security. In the 119th Congress, he serves on the Armed Services Committee (Sea Power and Projection Forces, and Readiness subcommittees) and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee (Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials, and Aviation subcommittees). He focuses on labor, manufacturing, and democracy issues.
