Claudia Tenney, U.S. Representative for New York's 24th Congressional District, is a Republican who served one term from 2017 to 2019, then won election again in 2020 to a different district and is serving her third overall term representing a large rural upstate New York district covering parts of the Mohawk Valley, Finger Lakes, and Lake Ontario shoreline. A Colgate University and University of Cincinnati College of Law graduate and small business owner who served in the New York State Assembly before her congressional elections, Tenney co-chairs the Friends of Israel Caucus. In the 119th Congress, she serves on the House Foreign Affairs and Ways and Means committees, and as a member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Drawing on her experience as the mother of a U.S. Marine officer, she unveiled an America First Foreign Policy Plan in 2025, focusing on stronger U.S. global leadership and accountability for taxpayer spending overseas.
