Eric Burlison is a Republican U.S. Representative from Missouri's 7th District, former state senator, and software technology professional.
Eric Burlison is the U.S. Representative for Missouri's 7th Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2022 serving his second term representing southwest Missouri including Springfield, Joplin, and Branson. A Missouri State University graduate, Burlison worked as a software developer and healthcare technology consultant before serving in the Missouri House of Representatives and State Senate. In the 119th Congress, Burlison serves on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee with subcommittees on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation; Delivering on Government Efficiency; and Economic Growth, Energy Policy, and Regulatory Affairs. He also serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee with subcommittees on Highways and Transit and Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials, plus the new House Department of Government Efficiency Committee, focusing on conservative fiscal policy, technology, gun rights, and rural economic development.
