Frank Pallone Jr. is the senior Democratic voice on health care, energy, and consumer protection as ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee since 2019.
Frank Pallone Jr. represents New Jersey's 6th Congressional District and is the ranking member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, where he leads Democratic efforts on health care reform, energy policy, telecommunications, and consumer protection. A graduate of Middlebury College, Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and Rutgers Law School, Pallone has served in Congress since 1988 and brings decades of legislative expertise. In the 119th Congress, Pallone secured health care victories in continuing resolutions, including expanded funding for community health centers and support for traumatic brain injury research. He actively opposed Republican efforts to cut Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act, and championed the Inflation Reduction Act's Solar for All initiative that directed $156 million to New Jersey communities. Pallone serves as co-chair of the Congressional Coastal Caucus and Congressional Caucus on Armenian Issues.
