Glenn Ivey is a 2-term Democratic U.S. Representative from Maryland's 4th District in suburban Washington, serving on Appropriations Committee after prior judicial experience.
Glenn Francis Ivey represents Maryland's 4th Congressional District, a majority-Black district in suburban Washington covering Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties, since his 2022 election. A Princeton University and Harvard Law School graduate, Ivey worked as a federal prosecutor, served as chief counsel to a U.S. Senate subcommittee, and was a senior aide to Senator Tom Daschle before serving two terms as Prince George's County state's attorney. He brings extensive criminal justice expertise to Congress.
