Jeff Crank is a Republican U.S. Representative from Colorado's 5th District and a member of the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors.
Jeffrey Crank is the U.S. Representative for Colorado's 5th Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2024 and currently serving his first term. A Colorado Springs native and graduate of Colorado State University, Crank worked as a district director for former Representative Joel Hefley, as state director for Americans for Prosperity, and as host of a conservative talk radio program. In January 2025, Speaker Johnson appointed Crank to the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors to help ensure the academy fulfills its core mission of preparing military leaders. His district includes the U.S. Air Force Academy, Fort Carson, and Peterson Space Force Base. In 2026, he joined Senator John Hickenlooper in advocating for federal funding to address staffing shortages at the Air Force Academy, highlighting the importance of stable civilian employment. His legislative priorities include national defense and military readiness, aerospace and Space Force issues, federalism, and conservative economic policy. Crank represents the Colorado Springs defense and military community in Congress.
