John Ellis Joyce is Pennsylvania's 13th District representative, a Republican in his fourth term since 2018. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University and Temple University School of Medicine, Joyce is a dermatologist who founded and ran a successful dermatology practice in Altoona before his congressional election. He represents a large, rural south-central Pennsylvania district covering the Cumberland Valley, Chambersburg, and Altoona. In the 119th Congress, Joyce serves as Vice Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee with subcommittees on Health, Communications and Technology, and Environment, plus he co-chairs the GOP Doctors Caucus, bringing medical expertise to healthcare policy debates.
