Kat Cammack is the U.S. Representative for Florida's 3rd Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2020 serving her third term representing a North Florida district including Gainesville and several rural counties. A graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver and the University of Florida, Cammack worked as deputy chief of staff and district director for her predecessor Ted Yoho before winning the seat outright at age 32. In the 119th Congress, she serves on the House Energy and Commerce Committee where she was assigned to the Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade Subcommittee, the Communications and Technology Subcommittee, and the Health Subcommittee. Her legislative priorities include agriculture support, rural broadband expansion, small business development, border security, and domestic energy production. She represents a district balancing rural agricultural interests with growing urban areas.
