Kimberlyn King-Hinds is the Republican non-voting Delegate from the Northern Mariana Islands and the first woman delegate from the territory.
Kimberlyn Kay King-Hinds is the non-voting Delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, a Republican first elected in 2024 serving her first term. A graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, King-Hinds served in executive branch legal and policy roles in the CNMI government, including on the Commonwealth Ports Authority and in the attorney general's office, and worked in private legal practice. She succeeded longtime delegate Gregorio Sablan and became the first woman and first Republican to represent the CNMI in Congress. In the 119th Congress, she serves on the House Small Business Committee, Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and Veterans' Affairs Committee. As delegate, she cannot vote on final passage but can vote in committee. She focuses on U.S. territory policy, Compact of Free Association relationships, federal military buildup in the Marianas, and local economic development.
