Maggie Goodlander is a Democratic U.S. Representative from New Hampshire's 2nd District, a former Justice Department official, Navy intelligence officer, and spouse of National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan.
Margaret Goodlander represents New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District as a Democrat elected in 2024, succeeding retiring Representative Annie Kuster. A graduate of Yale University and Yale Law School, Goodlander clerked for Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer and Judge Merrick Garland on the D.C. Circuit, served as a U.S. Navy intelligence officer in the reserves, and worked in senior positions at the U.S. Department of Justice, including as deputy assistant attorney general for the Antitrust Division under President Biden. She is married to former National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. Goodlander represents the western half of New Hampshire including Concord, Nashua, and the Upper Valley and focuses on antitrust, national security, technology policy, and veterans issues. She declined to run for Senate in 2026.
