Mike Ezell is a Republican U.S. Representative from Mississippi's 4th District and former Jackson County sheriff.
Michael William Ezell is the U.S. Representative for Mississippi's 4th Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2022 serving his second term representing the Mississippi Gulf Coast and Pine Belt including Gulfport, Biloxi, Hattiesburg, and Pascagoula. Ezell served more than four decades in Mississippi law enforcement, including as a Pascagoula police officer, and served two terms as elected sheriff of Jackson County. In the 119th Congress, Ezell serves on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee as chairman of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee and member of the Economic Development, Public Buildings, and Emergency Management subcommittee. He also serves on the House Natural Resources Committee as vice chairman of the Water, Wildlife and Fisheries Subcommittee and member of the Energy and Mineral Resources Subcommittee. He focuses on Gulf Coast shipbuilding, Keesler Air Force Base, border security, and hurricane recovery.
