Michael Patrick Fallon is the U.S. Representative for Texas's 4th Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2020 serving his third term. Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to public school teacher parents, Fallon earned his bachelor's degree in government and international relations from the University of Notre Dame, where he played varsity football. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force, serving four years and receiving the Air Force Achievement Medal. After military service, Fallon built a small business selling promotional products, then served in the Texas House from 2013 to 2019 representing the 106th district, and in the Texas Senate from 2019 to 2021. His congressional district stretches across northeast Texas including Paris, Sherman, and Texarkana. Fallon serves on the House Armed Services and Oversight committees, focusing on military issues, fiscal conservatism, and border security.
