U.S. Representative from IA, District 4

Randy Feenstra is an Iowa Republican and Ways and Means member serving his third House term before launching a 2026 gubernatorial campaign.
Randall Charles Feenstra represents Iowa's 4th Congressional District, serving since 2021 in his third term representing northwest Iowa's heavily agricultural region. A Dordt College and Iowa State University graduate, Feenstra worked as a bank and insurance executive, as city administrator of Hull, and as a business professor at Dordt before serving three terms in the Iowa State Senate, including as chair of the Ways and Means Committee. He defeated longtime incumbent Steve King in a 2020 primary, running as a more moderate Republican. In the 119th Congress, Feenstra sits on the House Ways and Means Committee, focusing on agriculture, biofuels, tax policy, and conservative fiscal restraint. In October 2025, he officially launched his campaign for Iowa governor, saying he aims to work with President Trump to keep the state's executive branch Republican in 2026.
