Randy Keith Weber Sr. is the U.S. Representative for Texas's14th Congressional District, a Republican first elected in 2012 serving his seventh term. A native of the Gulf Coast who has lived there nearly 70 years, Weber owns an air conditioning business and previously served in the Texas House of Representatives. He was elected to Congress in 2012 to succeed Ron Paul, winning the primary and general election by substantial margins with strong support from Paul and then-Governor Rick Perry. His district covers the upper Texas Gulf Coast including Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Galveston and encompasses the critical petrochemical corridor. Weber serves on the House Science, Space and Technology Committee and Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, focusing on energy, petrochemicals, Gulf Coast infrastructure, port operations, and economic development for his coastal district.
