Rick Allen is a Georgia Republican, construction company owner, and senior committee member serving his sixth House term from east-central Georgia.
Richard Wayne 'Rick' Allen represents Georgia's 12th Congressional District, serving since 2015 in his sixth term. An Auburn University graduate, Allen owns a commercial construction company and was active in Augusta civic life before entering Congress. He represents an east-central agricultural district including Augusta. In the 119th Congress, Allen serves on the House Agriculture and Education and Workforce committees and has chaired the Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions Subcommittee. His legislative focus includes agriculture, workforce training, defense installations including Fort Eisenhower, and Savannah River Site nuclear remediation. The district favors Republicans by seven points according to the 2025 Cook Partisan Voting Index. Allen is running for reelection with a primary ballot date of May 19, 2026.
