Biography

Bob Latta is a Republican U.S. Representative from Ohio's 5th District and chairs the House Energy Subcommittee.

Robert Edward Latta is the U.S. Representative for Ohio's 5th Congressional District, a Republican who won a special election in 2007 and is serving his ninth full term representing northwestern Ohio including Bowling Green, Lima, and Findlay. Son of former U.S. Representative Delbert Latta who held the same seat for three decades, Latta graduated from Bowling Green State University and University of Toledo College of Law, working as an attorney and serving in the Ohio House and Senate. He sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee where he chairs the Subcommittee on Energy and serves on subcommittees focused on telecommunications, agriculture, and manufacturing.
