Biography
Russ Fulcher is an Idaho Republican, business executive, and Energy and Commerce member serving his fourth House term from western Idaho.
Russell Milton Fulcher represents Idaho's 1st Congressional District, serving since 2019 and holding his fourth term. A Boise State University graduate, Fulcher worked in the high-technology industry, including at Micron Technology, and in commercial real estate before serving a decade in the Idaho State Senate. He represents a large western and northern Idaho district stretching from Boise suburbs through the Panhandle. In the 119th Congress, Fulcher sits on the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Natural Resources Committee, focusing on public lands, timber and mining regulations, energy development, and conservative economic and social policy. He is running for reelection to represent Idaho's 1st District in the May 19, 2026 Republican primary.
