Seth Moulton is a 6-term Democratic U.S. Representative from Massachusetts's 6th District and Marine Corps Iraq War veteran serving on Armed Services Committee.
Seth Wilbur Moulton has represented Massachusetts's 6th Congressional District on the North Shore since 2014 and is among Congress's veteran legislators on defense matters. A Harvard College and Harvard Business School graduate with a Kennedy School degree, Moulton served four combat tours as a U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer in Iraq, including in the 2003 invasion and the Second Battle of Fallujah, earning a Bronze Star with Valor. He worked in transportation entrepreneurship before defeating an incumbent Democrat in a primary and briefly ran for president in 2020. In Congress, he serves on the House Armed Services Committee where he is ranking member on the Subcommittee on Strategic Forces, and the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Moulton focuses on national defense strategy, high-speed rail development, veterans mental health, and related national security priorities.
