U.S. Representative from WI, District 7

Tom Tiffany is a Republican U.S. Representative from Wisconsin's 7th District, a former state senator running for Wisconsin governor in 2026.
Thomas P. Tiffany was born in Wabasha, Minnesota, and grew up on a dairy farm near Elmwood in Pierce County, Wisconsin, with five brothers and two sisters. He earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1980. He and his wife Chris owned and operated Wilderness Cruises in Wisconsin's Northwoods for 20 years and served as dam tender on the Willow Flowage for 29 years. He served in the Wisconsin State Senate representing the 10th district from 2011 to 2020, where he chaired the Senate Committee on Sporting, Heritage, Mining and Forestry and advocated for mining operations and logging while also successfully relocating the DNR's Division of Forestry from Madison to Northern Wisconsin. He won a May 2020 special election to fill a vacancy and is now serving his third full term representing Wisconsin's 7th Congressional District covering the vast northern third of the state. He sits on the House Judiciary and Natural Resources committees and focuses on mining, forestry, and public lands. On September 23, 2025, Tiffany announced his candidacy for Wisconsin governor in 2026 and was endorsed by President Trump in January 2026.
